My name is Amie Elizabeth, writing from London, England. I am procrastinating on putting my all-in, across various aspects of my life. Once I do, I will fly, it's just believing in myself and putting in the work to do so first...
I also want to say that I am a firm believer in re-inventing, re-introducing and re-directing yourself WHENEVER and HOWEVER often you need to. It's part of the journey.
Hi Amie! I couldn't relate to this more. AND couldn't agree more with editing your life as frequently and ruthlessly as you see fit. Part of the journey indeed.
Palesa! It's wonderful to meet you. Would love to know what you're thinking about podcasting about. And let me know if you need any suggestion on equiptment etc!
I would say the main topic would be navigating the blows that come with life. I will be talking about lessons I’ve learned in my 20s: love, dating, friendship, family, and dealing with rejection and grief. and yes I’d love some suggestions 🥰
My name is Sandra Waithaka, I am writing from Silver Spring Maryland and I am procrastinating on writing a short story and my own sort of autobiography about being someone who enjoys the center of conflict, and how conflicting ideas, ideals and individuals have shaped my life.
I love and followed all of your creative gifts since listening to your podcast. I firmly believe that life is a lot of beginnings and endings and re beginning and ongoing ends.
So lovely to meet you, Sandra :) Selfishly, I want you to finish writing the short story because it sounds INCREDIBLE. What a refreshing, powerful premise. Exactly what we need right now. Cheers to more re beginnings and ongoing bits, my friend!
❣️ to answer your questions: I am Chika. I am writing from Southern California while procrastinating on starting and finishing a photo book I promised myself I would make before my 30th this September.

Chika! Don't get me talking about photobook paralysis 😫 it's very very real. Whew, but I'm sure it's going to be LOVELY. Just imagine holding a physical copy of memories rather than scrolling and forgetting. You've inspired me. And happy almost 30th (you're in for the best time of your life).
I receive all your words of affirmation 🥹❤️ and I'm going to be lookin for you when we take it to Cali for 100!
Oh Nneka. You are always such a beautiful, abundant, surprise. Cheers to 34. Your knowing is beyond...

Hi, Nneka and all of the ladies who have shared so far! I am Kai, and I am tuning in from Maryland. I am procrastinating on the relaunch of my fashion brand. I have taken over a year and a half to refine my message, offering, and purpose. My gut tells me I am on the right track, but fear and self-doubt are getting the best of me. I am so excited to be on this journey with you all. HBD!
Hi Kai! Please, when you relaunch (because we know you will!), drop the link because the girls neeeed it. You're gifts will make room for you, my friend. So happy to be on the path with you! And thank you 🥹❤️
My name is Melissa and I’m writing from Ann Arbor, MI. I am procrastinating on becoming the writer and artist that I’m proud of. I don’t know exactly what’s holding me back, but it’s time to cut loose and rise. 🧡
Melissa! Writing from my old stomping grounds :) Rise, my dear. Every inch matters. One day you'll wake up and marvel at the mountains you climbed. One step at a time! I'm right there with you.
I hope to venture onto new stomping grounds eventually. 🤞🏽 Thank you for your words of encouragement. Somehow, your words feel true so I’m going to hold onto them for dear life. 🧡
My name is Bonitah, writing from East Africa, specifically in Rwanda. I am procrastinating about starting a web series centered on story telling and educating on feminist issues. Even though I haven't had much progress, this project hasn't let me rest.
I have been a follower and love of your work since the layover and passing through podcasts. I can't wait to be part of your journey again.
My name is Chanita and I'm writing from Mississippi and I'm procrastinating on my debut photography art exhibit with fine art pieces captured from all over the world.
Howdy! I’m Ene and currently writing from Michigan. I’m procrastinating on starting a photo /video project because I’m crippled with anxiety over it. I get that no one has to like it but me, but I’m scared it’s not the original/riveting idea it exists as in my heart.
Hi. I'm Alisha and I writing to you from my bed in my room in the house that sits atop the ridge, and from my window I see old redwoods an douglas firs and black oaks. I am procrastinating on so many things, but namely book ideas for a proposal and a few other business ideas on which I'd like to start.
Alisha! I immediately knew it was YOU. The prose. Undeniable. You are a force. Wherever you direct your will catches fire. Can't wait to hold you book in my hands (and support your businesses!) ❤️
I'm Jayeesha—not sure if you remember me lol :). I'm writing from Chicago, IL while procrastinating on a video/reel idea I've had since January and a poetic prayer book that I really want to release within the next year or so.
I am not from the original LFAS crew, but I'm excited to be a part of the journey now!
Jayeesha! Stop playin. How could I forget?! Yo, the people need the works from you but we'll settle for whatever YOU give us. So thankful you're here, my friend ❤️
My name is Mia and I’m writing from Brooklyn. So many ideas floating around in my head that I’ve been procrastinating on but thank you for continuously sharing in this space. Love your words and your work!
Ayyye! Mia it's so nice to meet you 🫶🏽 I couldn't relate more. I've found that whichever one won't let you rest is the one that must be made. Can't wait to see what you create :)
I'm Ka'Vozia, a photographer writing and rooting for you from South Florida! For over a year, I overthought and hesitated starting a photobooth series & just recently got over that hump of uncertainty. I do wanna push back a little though...Whether it's more research needed or something extra that needs to be revealed to you, procrastination can be a useful tool when you recognize it. The added 100 short films may really elevate your project whilst bringing in that communal aspect you speak of! For me, it was technical aspects of the photobooth I needed to test and figure out first before going all in. Looking forward to following your journey <3
