I’ve been feeling a bit doubtful of my own creative journey lately, Nneka. “Is this worth pursuing still???” Pops up in my mind more often than I’d like to admit. So I’m going back to some of my favorite creators work just to remind myself I’m not alone, which lead me here. “But somehow, the call to create was somehow greater.” Is exactly what I needed to be reminded of.
“Results” & recognition aside, my call to create is undoubtedly greater than any feeling I might be a little bit afraid of on this creative path. Deep sigh. All of this to say, thank you for reminding me that this is simply about answering the call.
It's August and I am catching up with my reads. And maybe this was the perfect time for me to find this. Because I had been questioning a few things about my own projects.
Is it worth it? Should I keep going? Do people even care? The usual creators spiral.
And this reminded me to do it anyway cause you wil never know. So, thanks! 💕
