thank you. thank you. i'm glad to discover your Youtube and newsletter, it definitely inspired me to tune into my 'inner child' more and ask her what she wants, what she needed from adults but didn't get.
Oh, I’m new here and I’ve just fallen in love with the way you’ve created these videos to accompany your blog posts! I’m definitely going to take your advice and use the free subscription to learn how to make companion videos for my space over at Hello Creative. My vision has always included them, but I’ve struggled with filming this is so inspiring! Thank you for the coupon!
Also, friend, we share a habit. In my world, I call them Artist Anchors. Julia Cameron’s The Artist’s Way changed my life, and Morning Pages are one of the most sacred parts of my day. I’ve been waiting to find someone on Substack who mentions them so I can give a big internet hug and say “familia.” 🫂✨ Thank you for this post it’s amazing! #resharing
This landed deep in my bones. The line about weeds growing freely while the garden requires intention? Oof. Felt. Morning Pages have been that for me too — a place where I meet myself with no performance, just presence. And your point about movement being a form of reverence, not punishment? A whole shift. Thank you for reminding us that habit is the real altar — where we return to meet our higher selves even when inspiration ghosts us. Grateful for your discipline, and the honesty with which you share it.
This one hit bone-deep. “Put all of yourself on those pages, and I promise you, if you don’t give up on them, they won’t give up on you”—I felt that. Thank you for reminding me that devotion is louder than inspiration.
i just love your writing <3

my favorite multi-media artist on Substack right here!
another great one.
Habits that get me through,
Play - I must find a way to make time to be playful, engage in silliness etc. levity is so key to decompress for me.
Journaling - I dot journal but it's not very structured, sometimes it's just sketching or stream of consciousness thought dumping.
Movement - is also a big one for me and I'm always working at getting more consistent but in any way possible need to make time to move.
